Day 10 Locations: The Veldt, Narshe, South Figaro, Mobliz, Jidoor, Imperial Base, Cave to the Sealed Gate Steps Taken: 21,020 Playtime: 1:09 Total Playtime: 9:56 Characters: Gau (L15) Edgar (L15) Locke (L15) Terra (L15) Cyan (L8) Setzer (L7) So, I started off by getting Terra to level 15. Again, I only need one Mage Queen, that's Terra. Celes I'm not even that fond of as a character, so it's no loss to me. Shadow spends too much time absent for me to continue torturing myself at the lowest level. If I really wanted to max everyone's stats out, I'd literally have to never level up until I'm in the WoR having recruited every character, no thanks. I've been sick enough as is, the lowest level idea was just to give this challenge some flair and make it actually challenging. The main Returners are who will be the most broken, and even then, Celes, Shadow and co. will still have broken stats. Before I did the grind, I bought 2 Power Sashes and Gold Shields. Once I leveled Terra up, I did one last dance at the Veldt to see if something nice would show up, but of course not. Restocked on Tonics and such from Mobliz before heading over the Jidoor to grab the Golem Magicite from the Auction House. Again, used RNG manipulation to get the result I wanted. The lady outside has to walk right, down, down, right. Now, she started that combo with left, but when I saw the following 3, I thought maybe it was enough, and it was. Perhaps left also works? And another reminder, this does work in the WoR with down, down, right, up. Once I was finished here, it was off to the Cave to the Sealed Gate, again opting to run since I want to keep the party at 15. I grabbed all the treasures but the GP Rain relic for Setzer, it's not really that worth grabbing. Got the hidden stuff such as the "2000GP" which is actually like, 193GP. Well done, Ted. Anyway, once at the end of the cave, Terra gets ready to open the gate when you guessed it: Kefka shows up. Wow, who saw this coming? Well, I'm sure the airship landing here was very inconspicuous... During the time of trying to stop Kefka, I wanted to be cute and hit him with something damaging, but that didn't happen (not like it matters). Then the gate to the Esper World burst open and they all went haywire like Terra had after the battle at Narshe. Upon escaping from the cave, the ship gets hit and goes down, so no more Blackjack for now. The next thing to do is go back to Vector, I wonder how it will look? For now, I'm focusing on leveling the other 3 to 15. I grabbed Cyan and Setzer since I want to level Setzer's magic, but also Sabin's. I'll deal with this in some way, like having Cyan alive at first maybe since his experience will be averaged back up later on. I just gained 1 level with them before saving, and it surprised me that the flying enemy, Wyvern did not actually have Float cast on it. Saved my game and thus ended Day 10.
