Meeting with Allah and the Accountability on the Day of Judgment Allah says in surah Kahf الكهف in translation: “So whoever would hope for the meeting with his Lord - let him do righteous work and not associate in the worship of his Lord anyone." He also says in surah Al ankaboot العنكبوت in translation: “Whoever should hope for the meeting with Allah - indeed, the term decreed by Allah is coming.” He also says in surah Al ahzaab الأحزاب in translation: “There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah an excellent pattern for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day and [who] remembers Allah often.” One of the greatest of events on the day of judgment that the Muslim needs to believe in and prepare for is the meeting of our lord and our account. Allah says in surah Al ghashia الغاشية in translation: “Indeed, to Us is their return. Then indeed, upon Us is their account.” All the servants will stand in front of Allah, Allah will show them and tell them from what they have brought of deeds. Allah says in surah Al inshiqaq الانشقاق in translation: “Then as for he who is given his record in his right hand, He will be judged with an easy account. And return to his people in happiness. But as for he who is given his record behind his back, He will cry out for destruction, And [enter to] burn in a Blaze.” Narrated `Aisha: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), said, "None will be called to account on the Day of Resurrection, but will be ruined." I said "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Hasn't Allah said: 'Then as for him who will be given his record in his right hand, he surely will receive an easy reckoning? Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "That (Verse) means only the presentation of the accounts, but anybody whose account is questioned on the Day of Resurrection, will surely be punished." In the time of judgment every individual will be on his own, as it says in surah الصافات Assafat in translation: “And stop them; indeed, they are to be questioned." 'Adi bin Hatim (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Everyone of you will speak to his Lord without an interpreter between them. He will look to his right side and will see only the deeds he had previously done; he will look to his left and will see only the deeds he had previously done, and he will look in front of him and will see nothing but Fire (of Hell) before his face. So protect yourselves from Fire even by giving half a date- fruit (in charity)". The events that will take place for the account 1-bringing forward the deeds to the servants. Allah says in surah Al qiyama in translation: “Man will be informed that Day of what he sent ahead and kept back.” Also, in Ale imraan آل عمران in translation it says: “The Day every soul will find what it has done of good present and what it has done of evil, it will wish that between itself and that [evil] was a great distance. And Allah warns you of Himself, and Allah is Kind to [His] servants." 2- A record will be open to every individual, and it will be said: Read your record. Sufficient is yourself against you this Day as accountant. Allah says in surah Al israh الاسراء in translation: “And [for] every person We have imposed his fate upon his neck, and We will produce for him on the Day of Resurrection a record which he will encounter spread open. [It will be said], "Read your record. Sufficient is yourself against you this Day as accountant." The meaning of this verse is that the work of the son of adam is written and recorded, every single deed will be revealed whether small or major. On the day of judmenet this recorded book will be brought forward to you and will be opened for you to read. The servant will receive it with his right hand if he was a righteous person and with his left if he was sinful. We ask Allah to protect Gaza, grant victory to its people, ease their suffering, strengthen their faith, and bestow them peace and justice.
