Renewing love for the Prophet ﷺ is one of the greatest acts of worship. It is not just a feeling in the heart but is expressed practically through following his guidance and sayings. We can renew this love by following his words in several ways: Learning his Sunnah Reading authentic hadith and understanding their meanings. Attending lessons that explain his biography and traditions. Setting aside regular time to reflect on his teachings and advice. Preferring his words over personal desires If a command or prohibition from the Prophet ﷺ comes, give it priority over personal desires or social habits. Allah says in surah in An-Nisa in translation: “But no, by your Lord, they will not [truly] believe until they make you, [O Muhammad], judge concerning that over which they dispute among themselves.” Emulating his character Acting with honesty, mercy, patience, and gentleness as he did. Remember his saying: “I was only sent to perfect good character.” Following his guidance in worship Applying his Sunnah in prayer: humility, focus, and avoiding haste. Following his daily supplications: before sleeping, upon waking, while traveling, and in hardship. Keeping to the voluntary acts of worship he maintained. Bringing his sayings into daily life Relating daily situations to his words: for example, when angry, remember his advice: “Do not get angry.” In financial dealings, recall his teaching: “May Allah have mercy on the one who is gentle when he sells, when he buys, and when he asks for his due.” Frequently sending blessings upon him This is a sign of love, a renewal of our bond with him, and a cause for his intercession. Raising family and children upon his words Making his hadith part of daily conversations at home. Applying them in practice so that children follow by example. One of the best things that we dedicate to our Prophet Muhammad PBUH is that we study what he said from the masterpieces of his words and ask ourselves whether we follow what he said, follow what he commands, and avoid what he forbids? Unity of Ummah : Abou Musa reported that the Prophet PBUH said: “The Believer to the Believer is like a solid building, one part supporting the other." Narrated by Al Bukhari An-Nu’man ibn Basheer reported: The Messenger of Allah PBUH said: “The example of the believers in their affection, mercy, and compassion for each other is that of a body. When any limb aches, the whole body reacts with sleeplessness and fever.” Allah says in surah Al taubah in translation : “And the believing men and the believing women, they are guardians of each other; they enjoin good and forbid evil and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, and obey Allah and his apostle; these, Allah will show mercy to them; surely Allah is Mighty, Wise” Allah said in translation in Surah Ale Imraan: You are now the best people brought forth for (the guidance and reform of) mankind You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allah). Oppression On the authority of Abu Dharr Al-Ghafari, of the Prophet PBUH said: “O My servants! I have forbidden oppression for myself, and I have made it forbidden amongst you, so do not oppress one another. Al Bukhari Minor hour signs The prophet Muhammad PBUH has also predicted that the morals of the ummah will change to the worse. The prophet PBUH has described the years before the arrival of the dajjal as years of deception, we see and witness these times of deception today in our societies and communities whether Muslim or non-Muslim. Anas ibn Malik (RA) narrated the Messenger of Allah PBUH said: ‘Before the time of the Dajjal will be years of deception. People will believe a liar, and disbelieve one who tells the truth. People will distrust one who is trustworthy, and trust one who is treacherous; and the Ruwaybidah will have a say.’ Someone asked, ‘Who are the Ruwaybidah?’ He said, ‘Those who rebel against Allah and will have a say in general affairs.” Truthfulness Abdullah ibn Mas’ud reported: The Messenger of Allah PBUH said, “Verily, truthfulness leads to righteousness and righteousness leads to Paradise. A man may speak the truth until he is recorded with Allah as truthful. Verily, falsehood leads to wickedness and wickedness leads to the Hellfire. A man may tell lies until he is recorded with Allah as a liar.” A muslim can be truthful with Allah if he manages to achieve truthfulness from 3 different aspects: Faith and believe, obedience’s and morals. The Imam ibn and qayim said: “honesty in 3 sections, honesty in sayings, honesty in actions and honesty in circumstances.” Dear brothers and sisters start being truthful from now on, not tomorrow but from this moment. Truthfulness guides the believer to the path of paradise. We ask Allah that he makes us one of the truthful ones that obey and fear him at all times. May Allah restore our Ummah to its strength, grant relief to the people of Gaza and all refugees, and provide them with safety and dignity
