#76 - Making Plans | Designing Roof Trusses for Our Summer Barn Conversion with SketchUp Free

This week, Becci tries her hand at using ‪@SketchUp‬ to look at the design of the roof trusses in the barn extension. Will it be one or two? The one would replace the current roof truss... but this is awkwardly situated near to the window and isn't central. The two would be equally spaced apart in the room (and would definitely help with Michael's OCD). Please share your thoughts and votes and we'll feedback on what we've decided next week! Also this week, Michael finishes off salvaging the old floorboards...and hints at an exciting future project for the ones that aren't in the best of shape. Even Becci isn't privvy to this upcoming project (🤨)! He also sets the first purlin in place, using his ingenious ways to get the right angle so they're flush with the rafters.
