What the jury saw at the Tim Bosma murder trial: Exhibit 56 — Photographs and the report of the forensic examination and identification of what was found inside the incinerator, called “The Eliminator,” found by police on Dellen Millard’s farm. Dellen Millard, 30, of Toronto and Mark Smich, 28, of Oakville are on trial for first-degree murder in the sad case of Tim Bosma, who vanished May 6, 2013, after accompanying two strangers on a test drive of the pick-up truck he was selling online from his home in the Ancaster community of Hamilton, Ont., Canada. The prosecutors’ exhibit #56 are from the testimony of Dr. Tracy Rogers, director of forensic science at the University of Toronto, a leading expert in identifying bones. She worked with Sgt. Annette Huys of Hamilton police’s forensic unit at the Millard farm in Ayr, Ontario, west of Hamilton. Rogers and Huys scoured the inside of the incinerator, with Rogers climbing completely into the nearly 11-foot-tall device, picking up, sweeping up and even vacuuming up bone and bone fragments after a cremation.
