Loyola School, Telco, was established in 2015. In just a short span of time, its growth and development have been a beacon of quality education and overall development. At Present, approximately 1,530 students, from Nursery to Class 9, are enrolled here. Loyola School, Telco, is run by the Fathers of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits), a religious order of the Catholic Church founded by St. Ignatius Loyola in 1540. At Loyola School, Telco, we focus on Jesuit values that reach beyond academics, aiming to nurture students into individuals of Conscience, Competence, Compassion, and Commitment. Our mission is to foster ethical leadership with open minds and open hearts. The focus of Jesuit education is not limited to classroom teaching but extends to forming men and women of Conscience, Competence, Compassion, and Commitment—what we call human excellence. This is achieved by upholding a living tradition that encourages open eyes, ears, and hearts. Since the academic session of 2022-23, Loyola School, Telco, is governed and administered by Loyola Jamshedpur, a registered society that also manages Loyola School, Bistupur, Loyola Hindi School, and St. Ignatius’ High School in West Singhbhum. It is noteworthy to mention that Loyola School, Telco, only third school in the district to receive RTE recognition. The school is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi. Our curriculum, aligned with ICSE standards, emphasizes critical thinking and creativity, preparing students for future success and lifelong learning. Our secure campus features CCTV surveillance, a Grievance Cell, and a Complaint Committee. We also offer extensive facilities, including sports grounds for football, volleyball, and basketball, as well as well-equipped science and computer labs, a language lab, a library, a canteen, and a bookstore—all supporting our students’ educational journeys and personal growth. Loyola School, Telco, has expansive football grounds, basketball courts, and volleyball courts, which are standout features among schools in the Telco Colony. The English language lab is another asset, helping students improve their phonics and linguistic skills.
