In this lesson, we focus on separating the main cabinet panels into independent geometries and organizing the scene efficiently using Blender’s Outliner. Starting from the model created in the previous lesson, you’ll learn how to isolate horizontal and vertical panels by working in Edit Mode, selecting specific vertex groups, and using the Separate - Selection command. The lesson walks through the separation of the top, bottom, side, front, and back panels, explaining how to temporarily hide objects to maintain a clean and controlled workflow. Once all panels are separated, we move to the Outliner, where proper scene organization is introduced by creating dedicated collections and grouping related geometries logically. This step is essential for maintaining clarity, scalability, and control in complex interior design and furniture modeling projects. The lesson concludes with an important observation: although the panels are now separated, additional modeling work is required to close and refine the geometry—setting the stage for the next lesson.
