In this episode of Where Faith Lives, we explore what it truly means to walk in love — not a version shaped by culture, not a silence that avoids truth, and not a posture of superiority — but the kind of love that reflects the heart of Christ. There are moments in life when we realize we are being evaluated more than we are being embraced. Sometimes it comes through harsh words. Sometimes it comes through distance. And sometimes it comes through Scripture delivered without gentleness. Many believers genuinely desire to stand for truth, yet somewhere along the way restoration can be replaced with condemnation. This conversation invites us to examine our posture. Through Scripture and reflection, we look at: • Why love is evidence of belonging to God (1 John 4:7) • How God’s kindness leads to repentance (Romans 2:4) • Why restoration—not exposure—is God’s heart (Galatians 6:1–5) • What it means to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15) • How humility changes the way we carry truth Walking in love does not mean excusing sin. It does not mean compromising conviction. It does not mean abandoning truth. It means reflecting Christ. Jesus never minimized sin, but He never weaponized it either. He confronted with compassion. He corrected with patience. He restored with mercy. And as followers of Christ, we are called to carry that same posture. This episode is for anyone who has ever felt judged instead of shepherded. It is also for those of us who may need to ask ourselves whether our tone, our timing, and our intention align with God’s method. Because truth without love may be accurate — but truth carried with humility has the power to heal. The Scriptures referenced in this episode are listed below. I encourage you to read them slowly and ask the Holy Spirit to examine your heart — not just what you believe, but how you carry it. If this conversation encouraged you, share it with someone who may need the reminder. And as always, thank you for being part of this growing community.
