What is lymphatic drainage? Lymphatic drainage refers to the gentle stimulation of the lymphatic system — a vital part of your immune and circulatory systems. Unlike blood circulation, which is powered by the heart, the lymphatic system relies on movement and muscle contractions to transport lymph fluid. This clear fluid carries toxins, waste products, and excess fluid away from tissues and toward the lymph nodes, where it's filtered and cleaned before re-entering the bloodstream. When lymphatic flow stagnates, it can contribute to swelling, fatigue, brain fog, and a sluggish immune response.
