50008 Thunderer and 50007 Hercules bring in the 9 MK2D/E carriage Eastern Rail ECS from Wembley Reception sidings to Finsbury Park Platform 7 on time at 0607hhmm. I walk to the back of the Train just in case there was another loco there, but it’s just the guards van, so we walk the entire length up to where the two class 50 “Hoovers” are, spend a lot of time listening to the English Electric engine sounds, admiring the professionalism of UK Railtours, in awe of the immaculate beauty of these well maintained locomotives. The 1Z50 “Brick & Tile” Railtour departs for Cleethorpes on time at 06:19hhmm, (they add a Class 37 at Doncaster for top & tailing the mini tour through Scunthorpe Steelworks). The entire 15 minute video was done in 1 take without pause on a Pixel 8 phone with DJI Mimo stabiliser.
