These Jumbo Buttermilk Blueberry Muffins are tall, fluffy, and packed with juicy blueberries—just like your favorite bakery muffins! Using buttermilk gives them the perfect tender crumb while keeping them rich and moist every time. In this video, I’ll walk you through how I make these bakery-style muffins step by step, plus my tips for getting that beautiful domed top and bursts of blueberries in every bite. They’re perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a cozy afternoon treat. 🫐 Full recipe below: What you need: ***All ingredients need to be at room temperature ½ cup softened butter ½ cup sugar + ¼ cup brown sugar 2 eggs slightly beaten 1 cup buttermilk (I used Maple Bourbon infused, link at the bottom of the recipe) ½ Tbsp lemon juice ⅓ cup sour cream 2 Tbsp Maple bourbon flavoring (coffee syrup) 2 1/4 cup flour ½ Tbsp baking powder ½ tsp baking soda ¼ tsp salt 2 cups frozen blueberries ¼ cup flour 1 Tbsp cornstarch Optional: Coarse sugar Let’s make them: Preheat oven to 425℉ (when ready to bake) 1. Whisk all dry ingredients together, set aside 2. Cream butter and sugars together 3. Add slightly beaten eggs 4. Add the rest of the wet ingredients and mix well 5. Mix the dry ingredients in. Mix just until almost combined, DON’T over mix 6. Cover and let batter rest in the fridge for a few hours to let the flour hydrate and gluten relaxes. This should produce a higher rise in the muffins, similar to bakery style 7. When the batter is ready, preheat the oven. 8. Mix second portion of flour and corn starch together 9. Add blueberries and gently toss together 10. Gently fold the blueberries, flour and cornstarch into the muffin batter 11. Scoop into jumbo muffin tins, lined with paper liners, sprinkle tops with coarse sugar (optional) 12. Bake at 425℉ for 5 - 7 minutes 13. Reduce heat to 325℉ and continue baking for about 25 minutes 14. Check with a toothpick, if it comes out slightly crumbly but clean and not wet, remove from the oven and cool for at least 5 minutes before removing from the pans Tip: As soon as you take them out of the oven brush the tops with a little melted butter and another sprinkle of coarse sugar The Maple bourbon infused buttermilk recipe is one of my YouTube shorts “Sweet Maple Bourbon Butter”, here is the link : • Sweet Maple Bourbon Butter #homemade #mapl...
