PLEASE SHARE THIS AND HELP RAISE AWARENESS During the past year we have invested time and money in putting together an animation to help families understand, in a very simple way, what to expect when they are first diagnosed. The animation cost over £5,000 to develop and the Voice Over is one of our scientists Dr George Allen. It may be useful to AADC families and extended family members or to anyone who'd like to understand our disease more. I hope you like it but mostly I hope its a useful tool. We launched and showed it at our May 2016 Conference and many doctors have now agreed to also become a Voice Over for this animation in their native languages, soon we will bring Greek, Spanish, Dutch, German and Italian Versions plus more. Each doctor will have to take time away from their busy schedules and visit a recording studio to be professionally recorded, the words will then be matched to the animation and hey presto we’ll have it available in several languages. How incredible for the newly diagnosed family!
