I am someone who wants to learn from the best, and someone who I have learned valuable lessons from is Sean Cannell. In this video, I discuss the lessons I have learned as a lawyer from Sean! This is the fourth video in a multi-part series where I highlight the best lessons I've learned from a variety of business people. I had the pleasure of meeting Sean and seeing him at the Think Media Grow With Video Live Conference earlier this year and appreciated his presentation on marketing, growing a business, and much more. The first lesson I learned from Sean is why you should be using YouTube in business. The best time to start was back in 2008, the next best time to start is NOW! This is why you should start your channel now, as the growth you seek to improve your business will most likely not occur overnight. The next lesson should coincide with the first lesson, and that is to treat your content as a business. The potential YouTube can offer is tremendous, however, if you are not treating your content on the platform as a business you will not see the success you wish to see. The third lesson I learned from Sean is the understanding of why you need to have a strong business team in place. Many think they do not have the time or money to afford a team, but trust me, that is a mistake. The sooner you can hire a team to help you with tasks and responsibilities the better. It might affect you from a monetary perspective, but down the line, it will benefit you tremendously.
