I am someone who wants to learn from the best, and someone who I have learned valuable lessons from is Patrick Bet-David. In this video, I discuss the lessons I have learned as a lawyer from Patrick! This is the fifth video in a multi-part series where I highlight the best lessons I've learned from a variety of business people. I had the pleasure of meeting Patrick and seeing him at the Think Media Grow With Video Live Conference earlier this year and appreciated his presentation on marketing, growing a business, and much more. The first lesson I learned from Patrick is the need for two brands. What he means is that everyone should be building their personal and business brand. Most people do one or the other and are not looking at doing both in combination. Patrick’s personal brand has helped his business brand tremendously. The second lesson I learned from Patrick is the importance of thinking ahead. He states that everyone should be thinking 5 moves ahead and in my business, that is exactly how I get paid. The final tip I learned from Patrick is the importance of diversity in content. A great example of this can be taking a long video and creating multiple short clips from the original video. These smaller clips or videos can generate additional views that will help boost your overall business. My bonus tip for this video is understanding the importance of utilizing the available data.
