Driving Solutions Track Night @ Sydney Motorsport Park, Eastern Creek Australia Car: 1996 Honda EK Civic, K24A 408HP / 304kW Rotex Supercharged Driver : Mark Seguna Best recorded time of the day : 1:40.52 Date 13/04/2024, 9:17PM 18° Dry Tyres - Yokohama Advan A050 Medium - 245/40/17 (F) 215/45/17 (R) After the early end of the last track night, it was time to get reaquainted with the new Supercharger Setup. The power has almost doubled and this means i have to get used to the car again. Only completing 8 laps in the car previously it was time to start pushing it. The night was fully booked out with 25 cars in the session. This meant navigating through traffic and trying to find some clean air to get a decent lap in. After settling in the first session, the second session saw a 1:42.3 with traffic. The third session i went faster again, a 1:40.9 quickly getting up to speed with this new setup. Fourth session went 1:40.6 before an early red flag. Fifth and final session of the night saw the PB of 1:40.5. Very close to my goal of 1:39.xx with this car. All my PB laps were done on the 2nd lap of their respective sessions - as i had left enough space to the car infront but by the time i went around for another i would encounter heavy traffic.
