Recent developments in Language Technologies seen through META-NET

The META-NET distribution and Language Technology sharing platform META-SHARE provides the access to many ready-made black-box modules for NLP in many languages. These could be used and combined in AI pipelines that process other types of information (e.g. knowledge, vision, reasoning etc.) and still need or rely on input from NLP. At the end an example of linking the text to an ontological space in XLike project will also be mentioned as an illustration of an application of LT in wider knowledge extraction context
