Il presidente Andy Varallo fa il punto sull’inizio di stagione: dopo un novembre molto freddo, che ha permesso di innevare in modo eccezionale i comprensori, tutte le 12 valli hanno aperto con un’ampia scelta di piste e impianti. Tra il 5 e il 15 dicembre però è arrivato un periodo caldo che ha rallentato l’innevamento programmato, spingendo alcune località a rivedere le scelte strategiche sulle aperture. Ora, con nuove riserve d’acqua e temperature in calo, l’innevamento riparte per arrivare pronti al Natale con un numero di piste ancora maggiore. Varallo sottolinea fiducia e preparazione: negli anni il Dolomiti Superski ha già affrontato situazioni simili e dispone della tecnologia per garantire condizioni ottimali. Aggiornamento anche sulla Sellaronda: aperta in entrambe le direzioni, con tratti a sud più morbidi per il sole, ma piste in quota perfette. Nach einem ungewöhnlich warmen Herbst brachte der November endlich eine lange Kälteperiode, die eine intensive technische Beschneiung ermöglichte. Dadurch konnten alle 12 Täler mit zahlreichen geöffneten Pisten und Liften in die Saison starten. Zwischen dem 5. und 15. Dezember sorgte jedoch eine Wärmephase dafür, dass die Planungen zur Beschneiung vorübergehend ausgesetzt werden mussten. Einige Gebiete mussten strategisch entscheiden, welche Pisten Priorität haben. Mit der Rückkehr kälterer Temperaturen wird die Beschneiung fortgesetzt, um rechtzeitig zu Weihnachten weitere Anlagen und Abfahrten zu öffnen. Varallo blickt zuversichtlich auf die Feiertage und betont, dass das Team auf Situationen mit wechselhaftem Wetter vorbereitet ist. Auch die Sellaronda ist aktuell in beide Richtungen geöffnet: Im Süden ist der Schnee etwas schwerer, doch die höher gelegenen Pisten sind in optimalem Zustand. After an unusually warm autumn, November finally brought a long cold spell that allowed for extensive snowmaking, enabling all 12 valleys to open the season with many slopes and lifts already running. Between December 5th and 15th, warm temperatures forced snowmaking to pause, requiring some areas to make strategic decisions about which slopes to prioritize. With colder temperatures returning, snowmaking is resuming to prepare even more slopes and lifts for the Christmas holidays. Varallo remains confident, noting that the ski areas are equipped to handle challenging weather patterns. The Sellaronda is currently open in both directions: southern slopes have slightly heavier snow due to sun exposure, while higher altitude slopes are in excellent condition. Visitor numbers are already higher than last year, confirming a very strong start to the season.
