Ondrej Palkoci is an AI/ML specialist and cloud engineer working in a med-tech startup. Together with an international team, he is developing technology in Košice that pushes the boundaries of non-invasive cardiology. He was involved in establishing one of the first AI labs in Eastern Slovakia and has long focused on bridging data science and medicine. At TEDxHumenné, Ondrej explores how world-class medical AI can emerge far from global tech capitals. He shares why breakthrough innovation is not defined by geography, but by courage, collaboration, and the willingness to build where you are.
