In the shade River Rock The Irene Sweater is an oversized dropped shoulder sweater with a continuous textured-stripe pattern. It is a top-down construction; the yoke is worked flat and joined in the round for the body. Sleeves are also worked in the round. There are two hem options: split or regular – the choice is yours! This pattern is named after my Nana Irene who taught me how to knit as a child and where my knitting journey truly begun.
