You're going to love this delicious dinner: Honey glazed salmon with a spinach feta beet aalad with candied walnuts. #kosherfood #koshercooking #kidsinthekitchen #koshertravel SALMON: 4 pieces salmon fillets 1/4 c olive oil 2 T soy sauce 1 T sesame oil 1 T brown sugar 2 T minced garlic 2 t garlic powder 2 T lemon juice Sesame seeds 1/2 c honey Mix marinade ingredients in bowl. Add salmon. Mix to coat. Cover. Marinate for at least 30 minutes. Bake at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes total. Take out of oven at 8-10 minute mark, brush tops with honey then place back in oven for last 2 minutes of cooking. (Optional: microwave honey for 30 seconds for easier spreading.) SALAD: Spinach 1 pear, diced 1 red onion, diced 2 boiled, peeled beets, diced Candied walnuts*, rough chopped Feta cheese, crumbled on top *Candied walnuts 1 T butter/margarine 1/4 c sugar 1 T water Pinch of salt 1 c walnuts Melt butter. Add sugar, water, and pinch of salt. Mix until becomes a syrup. Add walnuts and stir to coat. Remove from heat. Immediately pour mixture onto parchment lined baking sheet and break up into small pieces. Otherwise it will harden as one large clump. Copycat Italian seasoning packet: 1 T garlic powder 1 T onion powder 2 T oregano 1 T sugar 1 t pepper 1/4 t thyme 1 t basil 1 T parsley 2 T salt Mix everything together in spice jar. Leave in pantry. Enjoy as needed! DRESSING: Mix 2 T of seasoning mix with: 3 T water 1 t Dijon mustard 1/2 c olive oil 1/4 c balsamic vinegar
