If you like it then you shoulda put a wing on it… maybe even two. I saw a couple different conversions of the Judicar online and have no idea who was first but I guarantee that it wasn’t me. However, I do have some wings from the Sanguinary Guard box which I have yet to dive into, aside from one model which… let’s just say I’ll be revisiting it at some point. Anyway, the addition of wings and the use of a Chaplain helmet really changes the feel of this model to me and I like it whether or not it fits rules or lore. The model was extra challenging considering the amount of leather I was painting went from a pistol holster to a pistol holster, gloves, hood and entire cloak draped over power armor. Check out the Pre Paint Prep video I made for this model here: • Primaris Judicar - Unboxing and Pre Paint ... If you're looking for a shorter version, my ramble edition for this model can be found here: • Видео - - - - The Judicar I took inspiration from and which should be praised can be found here: / my_plans_for_the_new_judicar_maybe_a_primaris Another: / judicar_finished_hope_yall_like_him And yet another: / didnt_like_the_original_head_so_i_went_cho... Can’t guarantee that any of these were the originators of the ideas, but I’m just showing where I found the pictures I used so they can take credit for their excellent work. Maybe someday someone will link to my pictures and/or video as an example. - - - - About Roshamjoe Paints: I've been painting Warhammer Age of Sigmar and WH40k models since mid 2014 and in that time have painted a wide variety. I’m not as skilled as others out there but I'm always looking to try new things and push myself to get better. Part of the fun is to look back on models I painted early on and comparing them to my most recent work. The hobby of assembling and painting is how I spend my free time and I'm now looking to reach out and share that with others who might enjoy the madness in my methods of hobbying. My videos are meant to be somewhat informative though reflect my personality, with plenty of rambling, confusion, mistakes and attempted humor. In the end, I’m trying to show how I paint a model to what I would think could be a tabletop if not high tabletop standard while making a casual video which is helpful and hopefully entertaining. Overall, if you're having fun with the hobby then the finished product, good or bad, was worth the time invested. - - - - Follow me on all the usual stuff: Instagram: / roshamjoepaints Reddit: / roshamjoe_paints - - - - 00:00 - Ramble in 01:09 - Abaddon Black vs Chaos Black comparison 02:26 - Abaddon Black: Basecoat on power armor 02:52 - Dark Reaper: Highlight black armor 06:27 - Leadbelcher: Basecoat on silver metallics 09:30 - Retributor Armor: Basecoat on gold metallics 14:21 - Celestra Grey: Basecoat on shoulder and wings 17:34 - Mumble mumble, mumble… mumble? 18:43 - Zandri Dust: Basecoat on paper and bone 20:38 - Screamer Pink: Basecoat on handles and wax 22:09 - Rhinox Hide: Basecoat for dark leather 23:22 - Mournfang Brown: Basecoat for light leather 25:28 - Incubi Darkness: Basecoat for blue leather 29:06 - Nuln Oil: Shade over dark leather, blue leather, silver metallic, pink, wings and a targeted line around the inside of the shoulder. 29:31 - Agrax Earthshade: Shade over light leather, bone and parchment 29:40 - Reikland Fleshshade: Shade over gold metallics 29:56 - Runefang Steel: Highlight and layer silver metallics 32:49 - Original Judicar head paint scheme and discussion 34:58 - Liberator Gold: Highlight gold metallics 36:11 - Pink Horror: Highlight wax and weapon handle 38:52 - Ushabti Bone: Layer on bone and parchment 40:25 - Talking about wings and being okay with being done 41:55 - Ulthuan Grey: Layer on left shoulder 44:55 - Gorthor Brown: Edge highlight dark leather 46:24 - Gorthor Brown: Add scratches or age the dark leather 49:17 - Thunderhawk Blue: Edge highlight, scratch and age blue leather 50:01 - Skrag Brown: Edge highlight, scratch and age light leather 50:21 - Pallid Wych Flesh - Edge highlight parchment 50:53 - Screaming Skull: Edge highlight bone pieces 51:23 - Baneblade Brown: Add scratches or age the dark leather, just less than before 51:53 - Jokaero Orange: Add scratches or age the light leather, just less than before 52:23 - Fenrisian Grey: Add scratches or age the blue leather, just less than before 52:53 - Rhinox Hide: Fine lines to add “text” to parchment 53:23 - Talking about the hourglass 53:53 - Spinning showcase of dramatic music 54:13 - Ramble Out #Warhammer40k #PaintingWarhammer #SpaceMarines
