On this Eighteenth Day of Lent, we reflect on a powerful truth from the Word of God: Christ is our peace. In a world marked by wars, conflicts between nations, divisions within societies, and even silent struggles within families, the Gospel reminds us that true peace does not come from human strategies or political agreements. True peace comes from Jesus Christ. In Ephesians 2:14, Saint Paul declares: "For He Himself is our peace." This meditation invites us to reflect deeply on the peace that Christ gives — a peace that is not like the peace of the world. The peace of Christ is born in the human heart, transforms our relationships, and has the power to bring reconciliation even in the midst of suffering and violence. During this Lenten journey toward Easter, we are called to prayer, conversion, and transformation. Through prayer, fasting, and faith in God, Christians become artisans of peace in their families, communities, and in the world. In this reflection, we meditate on: • The difference between the peace of the world and the peace of Christ • How wars in the world often begin with wars in the human heart • Why the Cross of Christ is the true victory of love over violence • How prayer can sustain believers even in times of conflict and uncertainty • Why every Christian is called to become a peacemaker We also entrust to God all those who live in regions affected by war and violence, praying that the peace of Christ may protect nations, heal hearts, and guide the world toward reconciliation. May this meditation help you grow in faith during this holy season of Lent and prepare your heart for the joy of Easter. 🙏 Subscribe for daily Lenten reflections and Christian prayers.
