In this video, we make the complete scenic drive along Old Fall River Road, a hidden gem in Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado. This historic dirt road winds its way up to nearly 12,000 feet in elevation over 11 miles of steep grades and narrow switchbacks, presenting breathtaking views and a magnificent waterfall as we drive along dangerous cliffs and steep drop-offs. Old Fall River Road is the oldest mountain pass in the park, opened in 1920. Upon reaching the end of Old Fall River Road at the Alpine Visitor Center, we continue our adventure on Trail Ridge Road westbound towards Grand Lake, where we are thrilled to spot a magnificent bull moose, making this journey a perfect blend of fall splendor and unforgettable wildlife encounters.
