An #easy recipe for this delicious coconut based indian sweet meat. Easy Kopra Pak Grated Coconut – 300 g Condensed Milk – 200 g Vanilla essence – 3 ml Red food coloring – 5 ml Milk - 300 ml Cooking cream – 200 ml Sugar – 50 g Ghee – 2 tbsp Chopped nuts – 30 g Saffron – a pinch Method : 1. Heat milk and sugar in a pan 2. Add condensed milk and continue to cook till it thickens 3. Add the coconut and continue to cook on a medium heat 4. Keep stirring constantly to prevent sticking or burning 5. Keep cooking till most of the liquid evaporates 6. Add the cream and continue to cook on a low heat 7. Add the ghee and continue to cook 8. Remember to keep stirring and scraping the sides 9. Continue till all the liquid evaporates 10. Add the saffron and mix it in 11. Turn off the heat and add the vanilla essence and liquid colour 12. Incorporate well till you get a uniform pink colour 13. Transfer to a tray greased with ghee and flatten with a spatula 14. Garnish with chopped nuts and cool till set 15. Cut only after it is completely cooled.
