Eastern practices, such as yoga, qigong, and tai chi, are all ways to find inner peace and cultivate natural healing, allowing for a comfortable body and freedom of movement at any age, especially after the age of 55. After the age of 55, our bodies will begin to feel the effects of all the harm we accumulated as younger adults. The body easily breaks down and takes longer to heal. So, adding Eastern routines is a way to counterbalance the damage and revitalize and rejuvenate an aging body. This short video begins with an introduction to learning how to bring your whole body into a State of Flow by "standing on a boat." Senior Qigong is a holistic practice for ongoing rejuvenation & relaxation. I'm a Senior Qigong and Tai Chi instructor. I'm especially passionate about teaching an older population, as I believe they often get overlooked in a life that is in motion, yet supports and restores what we have and what we have damaged. My classes are grounded in my firsthand experience of what it's like to be in an aging body. Qigong is an Ancient Chinese energy-generating practice that focuses on the body and emphasizes healing over harmful movements. Qigong is a comprehensive practice that offers techniques you can use for the rest of your life to promote ongoing rejuvenation and relaxation. Qigong can help you be your best healer to "Feel Good" as you approach your wisest years. I offer a space of comfort, safety, and acceptance where we honor the inevitable changes that come with the aging process. #qigongwithdebbie #energy #deborahbelaus .
