Understanding ADHD in kids is so important to help them succeed and also reduce child, parent, caregiver and teacher stress associated with ADHD symptoms at home, at school, and with friends. In this video, I use the example of air traffic control to help illustrate how both the "classic" ADHD symptoms but also lesser known but common symptoms of ADHD, including emotion dysregulation, disorganization, and forgetfulness, manifest in kids' brains. This simple metaphor can help give a broad view of why kids with ADHD require some different approaches and supports. This video is for parents, teachers, health care providers or other who are trying to better understand a more complete picture of ADHD in kids that can help set them up for success.
