We’re back! After spending a few months in Victoria catching up with friends and family, we’ve packed ourselves up again and are heading to the Apple Isle. After over five years on the road, we still hadn’t visited Australia’s southernmost island, so it’s time to remedy that—Tasmania, here we come! In this episode, we start at the Geelong Showgrounds for an early morning departure on the Spirit of Tasmania. It’s an eleven-hour journey filled with beautiful scenery as we leave Port Phillip Bay, cross Bass Strait, and arrive in Devonport. Our first stop is Sherwood River Campground, just outside Devonport. From there, we explore some of Devonport’s main attractions before heading east to Evandale. At Evandale, we stay at a great little free camp and visit the National Trust-listed Clarendon Estate.
