Are you interested in exploring the primary-level book supply chains and discussing access to quality reading materials? Join the Global Reading Network (GRN) and Supporting Holistic and Actionable Research in Education (SHARE: https://iei.nd.edu/initiatives/gc-dwc...) for a presentation on USAID’s Learning to Improve Book Resource Operational Systems (LIBROS). LIBROS examined the impact of the primary-level book supply chain on literacy in Cambodia, Honduras, and Rwanda [Add link to each study]. Each case study notes that, despite years of schooling, access to quality learning materials throughout a student’s educational journey is critical in the development of foundational skills. After hearing about the global synthesis of findings from the University of Notre Dame SHARE team, participants will join the country teams in breakout rooms to hear more in depth information about their contexts and discuss how the research applies to your work.
