Ready to awaken your core and twist a bit? Welcome to practice #51 from Agua Aria National Monument in Black Canyon City, AZ. This practice focuses on core stability, increasing awareness of the core stabilizers through simple hip movement. It is complemented with spinal twists to stretch and hip strength and mobility in the hips. We took a short walk at the Agua Fria National Monument. We pass the sign often when driving Interstate 17 to and from Phoenix to our home in Sedona. We decided to put it in GPS and my little Prius got us there. Dirt roads and signage that made the drive questionable and eventually we came upon it. We saw the ruins from the old Agua Fria school, which provided education in this remote area of Arizona along the Agua Fria River. So grateful for all the hikes and experiences and this channel for giving us a platform to be creative, practice yoga, hike and see the beauty of America. A special thank you to Karl, KFM Designs for the videography and photography slide show at the end of the practice. America is a beautiful nation, and may these photos at the end teleport you to a little piece of this vast and beautiful nation.
