We discussed drama techniques and their applications across diverse age groups and settings. We shared experiences of using drama for well-being, teaching drama in international schools, and working with homeschooling groups. In particular, we focussed on mime techniques with children, the use of poetry in drama, and adapting drama for online environments. This interactive drama webinar was a gathering of drama teachers from around the world, led by David Farmer, the creator of "The Inspiring Drama Teacher", an online course/resource, a subscription site and Facebook group for sharing ideas and resources. The course includes live sessions, downloadable lesson plans and lots more: https://dramaresource.com/inspiring-d... 00:45 Participants introduce themselves, outlining their backgrounds and current challenges in drama teaching, including improv for well-being, work in an international school in France, and experiences with homeschooling groups and a mental health-focused drop-in session. 09:33 Using meditation and yoga with drama. 11:45 is it possible to use online media for teaching Drama? 14:25 How to encourage more detailed mime work with primary-aged children. 17:30 The "Giants Hobby" exercise and the "Mime Room" activities.
