Hi! Everyone! Today we're going to show you how to make a classic French almond rum cake: Nantes Cake (Gâteau Nantais.) Gâteau Nantais originates in the city of Nantes in western France in the 18th century. Salted butter, rum and almond flour are 3 must in this recipe. Especially salted butter, because Nantes was once the capital of Brittany where sea salt is harvested. This French cake came to my attention several weeks ago. It looks simple but delicious, the fact is I can't resist any rum-flavored dessert. This recipe is easy and simple to make, if you make it, please give the cake at least one day ahead of serving for the flavors to infuse, it'll be delicious. 📍 Please follow us on Instagram:: / sweetdumplingofficial 📍 Welcome to follow us o n FB: / sweet.dumpling.studio ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Gâteau Nantais Recipe 📍pan size: 15cm in diameter, 5 cm in height 📍 Yields: 6 serves ✎ Ingredients ☞ For Cake granulated sugar 105g unsalted butter 118g, softened salt 1.8g almond flour 100g all purpose flour 40g M size egg 3, about 163g rum 18g ☞ For Glaze powdered sugar 80g wate 13g rum 5g ✎ Instructions 1.
