For me, almost always slowing down is the right thing. But sometimes what I need is to slow down and then stop completely for a serious rest. When I do that, though, I am often plagued by the fear and shame of yet another "abandoned project." On the other hand, sometimes what I need is to slow down but to keep on pushing through—even though that choice often puts me in grave fear of burnout. So how do I make these choices, and manage the potential negative effects of each? I definitely don't have all the answers, but I have worked a few things out, and this is what I want to talk to you about on this livestream! The Spiral Lab is a collaboration between Marta Rose and Jesse Meadows, two neurodivergent, disabled artists trying to make a living as content creators who support other neurodivergent creatives.
