The American Concrete Institute (ACI), in collaboration with the ACI Northern California and Western Nevada Chapter, announced the opening of a new Chapter Certification Center in Sacramento, CA! For more information, visit aci-ncawnv.org. With the center, the Chapter can now provide access to all ACI certification programs and educational seminars. Additionally, the Center is designed and equipped to support the Chapter's other important and strategic initiatives, including Chapter events, Student Chapter Competitions, and meetings of the Board of Directors and Chapter Committees. The 6,500-square-foot facility has a spacious classroom and a comprehensive laboratory for in-person training and examinations. Three full-time ACI employees will staff the Certification Center. Certification sessions hosted by the Center will commence in January 2026 and be held on weekdays throughout the year. Saturday sessions will be scheduled as needed to accommodate demand. The Center will provide a wide range of certification programs, including: Adhesive Anchor Installer Aggregate Base Testing Technician Aggregate Testing Technician—Level 1 Aggregate Testing Technician—Level 2 Concrete Construction Special Inspector Concrete Field Testing Technician—Grade I Concrete Flatwork Associate and Advanced Finisher Concrete Flatwork Finisher Concrete Laboratory Testing Technician—Level 2 Concrete Quality Technical Manager Concrete Strength Testing Technician Concrete Transportation Construction Inspector Masonry Field Testing Technician Masonry Laboratory Testing Technician Post-Installed Concrete Anchor Installation Inspector Additional ACI programs may be added in the future.
