-- REUPLOAD TO FIX VIDEO TEARING -- So sorry about this reupload, I realized why the original video was messed up when I created Part 2, and wanted to correct it before uploading Part 2 of this series! In the initial video, the screen was tearing creating terrible lines when the camera was moving - here, it's now fixed! In today's episode, I reinstall nitrous back onto my Supercharged 2zz Celica. Nitrous on these Celicas can be a great way to bump power easily when you are racing in a straight line - to clarify, one of the simplest and safest ways to use it is when your car is at wide open throttle (WOT), I use a switch that is activated under my gas pedal, but a button works too if you know when you are at maximum airflow. By adding cold nitrous into the system, it should lower detonation temperatures similar to the methanol, allowing us to play with the tune and create more power. From my research, we should be able to squeeze out the equivalent to 1PSI more from the supercharger by sticking around the 15-20HP jet size on Nitrous. A stock 2zz motor can handle 50 shots of nitrous sparingly, or 30HP shots consistently to be safe. Previous to being supercharged, I was successfully running a 30HP shot of nitrous at WOT and the motor took it very well. I saw no problems with the system, and the power increase was very controllable. I imagine with a 50HP shot and skinny tires, it would be more dangerous - please do your research before installing a kit and hurting yourself or your car. If you choose to install Nitrous, know that this is an off-road mod and can potentially damage your engine severely if your system is not installed correctly or you activate nitrous at the wrong timing with the car. I take no responsibility for any modifications you chose to do, this is purely for demonstration and research for my channel on my car. --------------------------------------------------- Music: LoFi Background Music
