This video presents the successful Amhara/Ethiopian Community Public Meeting & Fundraising in Manchester City, UK. The meeting was held on 01/06/2025 at Ascension Church, Hulme 282 Stretford RD, Manchester M15 5TQ. The turnout was prety good and discussions & presentations were impressively educative. The event was facilitated by Mr Samson Assefa (Secretary of the United Amhara Association in the UK). Lt Col Fekade Woret, Leader of the Amhara Association Council in the UK and Chair of the Manchester Branch welcomed the participants of the meeting. All speakers and participants apreciated the recent "Fano Amhara Quara Agreement" (FAQA) among, the four main Amhara Regions namely, Gojam, Gonder, Shewa & Welo. The meeting stressed the importance of unity, miticullous plan and strategy to rescue the Amhara People from the current inhuman and brutal rgime. Refreshments such as Music, delicious cultural food & drinks (Injera with Wat and Tej) were served. We thank the Manchester Amhara/Ethiopian Community for organising and actively participating in such an examplar discussion and fundraising event which can inspir all branch offices across the UK.
