What if the SEGA 32X Was successful and Sonic 4 was released for it? This hypothetical soundtrack I'm working on is Sonic 4's OST (With some slight additions/modifications to the soundtrack) in the 32x Sound font, though not really sticking to the chip limitations but still a fun personal project I wanted to share. (Just to be clear about something real quick, I DON'T know how to make music so I use MIDI's. But I DON'T for the most part just change the sound and then upload, I'll add/change tracks) Alright this is my 2nd upload to YouTube ever, this time being Sonic 4's Main Menu theme. I'll try and do 2 uploads today trying to release the Map theme as a Data Select style later. About the Song: Same idea as I had with the title screen. Wanted to incorporate the feel of how Sonic 3D Blast's menu theme sounded with the brass used as the lead and using the 32X PWM for that Chaotix feel to it. Nothing else much to say but had fun making the tune. About the Image: Sonic 4 Episode II had a menu with Sylvania Castle in the background being the first stage of the game, with this project however I'm combing both episodes into one big game, with the zones being re arranged into a way that would make sense. So instead I took the island sprite I created for the title screen, being from the Sonic Chaos 2018 remake, and grabbed the back clouds from Sonic CD along with Palmtree Panic's water with the upper clouds, the lower clouds are from Angel Island Act 1 and the Little Planet sprite is a image from google shrunken down into photoshop and color changed. The sprites for the options to choose are from a Sonic 3 A.I.R. mod created by CRaZyK15 on GameBanana replacing the menu with Sonic 4's Menu, i then changed the images shown in the options by making a scene then shrinking it down to proper size to fit inside the options you choose.
