This workout is eight minutes in length and is ideal for those that are new to the kettlebell. Each movement does not require a high degree of skill with kettlebells but don't worry - it will still provide an excellent workout! You will need two light to moderate weight KB. You may use different weights for the different movements depending on your strength with each. These three movements include – alternating lunge, half kneeling overhead press, and the single leg RDL. Lunging is a great option to work on strength and flexibility of the hips. The half kneeling with overhead press was placed afterwards to keep your hips in the same position while getting your shoulders involved. This pairing will hopefully get you breathing hard - making the balance and control needed for single leg RDL more difficult. Each movement will be performed for 20 seconds in immediate succession. After each round 20 seconds of rest will be provided before the next round begins. The goal is to complete 4 total rounds.
