Moong Ki Daal – Simple, Easy & Super Tasty 🤍 This Moong Ki Daal recipe is simple, easy to make and full of rich desi flavours. It’s a perfect everyday daal recipe made with basic ingredients but cooked in a way that brings out amazing taste. If you’re looking for a quick, flavourful and home-style daal, this recipe is definitely worth trying. Soft daal, well-bhuna masala and a special oil tadka at the end make this daal extra delicious 😍 Ingredients: For Moong Ki Daal: Moong ki daal – 2 cups (washed & soaked) Onion – 2 large (thin sliced) Tomato – 4 large (sliced) Oil – 1 cup Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp Sabut zeera – 1 tsp Bari sabut lal mirch – 4–5 Bari hari mirch – 3–4 Kasuri methi – 1½ tbsp Fresh coriander – as required Ginger – for garnishing Spices: Red chilli powder – 1 tsp Crushed red chilli – 1 tsp Turmeric powder – ½ tsp Salt – 1½ tsp or to taste Cumin powder – 1 tsp Method: Sab se pehle moong ki daal ko achi tarah wash kar ke soak kar lein. Is step se daal jaldi aur evenly cook hoti hai. Ek pan mein oil heat karein. Oil garam hone par sabut zeera aur sabut lal mirch add karein aur thora sa saute karein taake aroma release ho jaye. Ab sliced onions add karein aur unhein light golden hone tak pakayein. Onions ko dark nahi karna, sirf halka golden colour chahiye. Is ke baad ginger garlic paste add karein aur thora sa bhunein jab tak raw smell khatam ho jaye. Ab tamatar aur saare spices add karein. Thora sa pani daal kar cover karein aur medium to low flame par cook karein jab tak tamatar soft ho jayein. Tamatar soft ho jaane ke baad unhein achi tarah mash karein aur masalay ko bhunein jab tak oil separate ho jaye. Jab oil separate ho jaye, to is oil ko alag bowl mein nikaal kar side par rakh dein. Ye oil hum end mein upar se add karenge taake daal ka taste aur look aur better ho jaye. Ab soaked daal add karein aur high flame par 2–3 minutes bhunein taake masala daal ke saath achi tarah mix ho jaye. Is ke baad pani add karein — itna ke pani daal se takreeban 1 inch upar ho. Boil aane ke baad cover kar ke 5–6 minutes medium to low flame par cook karein. Jab pani thora dry hone lage, to bari hari mirch aur kasuri methi add karein. Flame bilkul low kar ke daal ko 5 minutes dum par chhor dein. End mein daal ko mix karein, upar se fresh coriander, ginger aur reserved oil add kar ke serve karein.
