The soldiers conducted house to house searches, arresting suspected terrorists and then leading them blindfolded from their homes. As family and friends grieved for suicide bomber Fuad Horani, responsible for Saturday night's Jerusalem explosion, soldiers burst into the house and pulled down a Palestinian flag outside. Twelve Israelis were killed when Horani blew himself up in a crowded Jerusalem garden cafe. Also on Sunday morning, Israeli tanks moved into the West Bank city of Ramallah and helicopters flew overhead. And in the Aida refugee camp near Bethlehem, Israeli troop activity continued as tanks and soldiers entered the camp and searched for Palestinian gunmen. Israel continued to attack Gaza on Sunday afternoon, raining shells on the Palestinian police station in Sudaniya in northern Gaza. Meanwhile tanks continued to patrol the streets of Tulkarem, while hundreds of angry mourners attended the joint funeral of Palestinians killed during an Israeli operation in the camp on Friday and Saturday. Around the same time, a tape was released by the Al-Aqsa Brigade showing Shadi Najmi and Said Abdel Haqia Al-Bata, the two Islamic extremists responsible for an attack in Netanya on Saturday, explaining their motivation. The two Al Aqsa gunmen opened fire on pedestrians in a hotel-lined street in the coastal town of Netanya on Saturday night, killing two Israelis, including a baby, and wounding dozens of people before being shot to death by police.
