Welcome to Week 4 of our journey! A Word I hope will encourage us this week: Isaiah 40:31: "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." Ultimately it's our hope in the Lord that will renew our strength, so exercise your HOPE today as you exercise your body, may you soar, run and walk without fatigue! Today, we are taking the progress you’ve made and applying it to your vertical world. We are focusing on Functional Balance & Core Stability, ensuring that the strength you’ve built in your chair translates into confidence in your kitchen, your garden, and your life. Claiming Your Strength: In this session, we continue to evolve. We are shifting the balance of our workout toward standing exercises that challenge your core and stability in new ways. By using the chair as a support rather than just a seat, we are training your body to be resilient and steady on your feet. Your Pace, Your Journey: As we move more into standing work, remember that the chair is always there for you. If you need to hold on for balance or return to a seated version of the move, listen to your body. True mastery comes from moving with intention, not just intensity. Frequency & Benefits: For the best results, I recommend repeating this session 1 to 3 times per week. This week, our focus is on: 💪 Refining Core Stability: Protecting your back and improving posture. ⚖️ Mastering Balance: Gaining the confidence to move without fear of falls. 🧡 Sharpening Intention: Building the muscle-mind connection for better movement. Workout Details: Format: 40 seconds work | 20 seconds rest Equipment: Light dumbbells and a sturdy chair for support. Intensity: Beginner / Senior / Rehab-friendly A Note from Sunshine Fitness: You have officially completed one month of this series! Take a moment to acknowledge how far you’ve come since Week 1. I love hearing about your "small wins"—is there a move that feels easier today than it did last week? Drop a comment below and let’s celebrate your progress together. Love Sally 🧡 Looking Ahead to Week 5: Now that we have sharpened our standing stability, we are ready to increase our functional range. In Week 5, we will begin looking at "Mastery in Motion," where we combine our strength and balance into more complex, everyday movement patterns!
