Hi friend, welcome to your practice. This is a gentle, trauma informed slow flow designed to help you release tension, reconnect with your body, and create a sense of safety from within. I know what it feels like to carry the weight of past experiences in the body. Trauma doesn’t just live in our memories—it shows up in the nervous system, in how we breathe, and in how safe (or unsafe) we feel inside ourselves. That’s why trauma informed yoga can be so powerful: it’s not about pushing or forcing, it’s about moving slowly, with choice, breath, and compassion. Yoga offers us a way to gently reset the nervous system. Through mindful movement, grounding postures, and conscious breathing, we can calm the fight-or-flight response, reconnect to the present moment, and give the body permission to feel safe again. In this practice, we’ll move through slow, intentional poses that encourage grounding, gentle release, and mindful awareness.
