Time Five stands as a senior figure among Japanese vocal groups in the lineage of City Pop, AOR, and jazz fusion, alongside acts like High-Fi Set and Circus. I recall them appearing almost regularly on shows like “Music Fair” or “Sound in ‘S’” throughout the 1970s and 80s. They were a group that shared the same kind of impression as FM radio shows like “Jet Stream” and “Crossover Eleven” – the loneliness, the midnight atmosphere, the air of trying to be grown-up that young people felt back then. Formed in 1968, it's astonishing that they've been active on the front lines ever since, without any member changes. - - Just now, I searched and found it. While listening to this playback, the bass was played simultaneously, with the D.I. output fed into the mixer.
