Beef Pulao is a traditional South Asian rice dish made with tender beef, aromatic basmati rice, and flavorful whole spices. This one-pot recipe is perfect for family dinners, gatherings, and special occasions. The rich aroma of spices and the juicy, soft beef make this pulao absolutely irresistible! 📝 Ingredients 1 kg Beef (with bones preferred) 3 cups Basmati Rice (soaked 30 minutes) 2 large Onions (sliced) 2 Tomatoes (chopped) 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste 1/2 cup Yogurt 4–5 Green Chilies 1 tsp Cumin Seeds 4 Cloves 4 Green Cardamom 1 Black Cardamom 1 Cinnamon Stick 2 Bay Leaves 1 tsp Black Peppercorns Salt to taste 1 tbsp Red Chili Powder 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder 1 tsp Coriander Powder 1/2 tsp Garam Masala Powder Fresh Coriander & Mint (for garnish) 1/2 cup Cooking Oil 👩🍳 Method Heat oil in a large pot and fry sliced onions until golden brown. Add whole spices (cumin, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, bay leaves, peppercorns) and sauté for a few seconds. Add ginger garlic paste and beef. Cook until beef changes color. Add tomatoes, yogurt, salt, red chili powder, turmeric, and coriander powder. Cook until oil separates. Add 4–5 cups water and cook beef until tender. Add soaked rice and green chilies. Adjust salt. Cook on medium heat until water dries. Cover and steam (dum) on low heat for 10–15 minutes. Sprinkle garam masala, fresh coriander, and mint.
