Guidelines: • Always keep in mind that all trading is within the Scout Oath & Law. Patch traders that take advantage of naive beginners are often labeled as not to be trustworthy. • A good rule of thumb is to put a financial value on the patches and make sure that it is equal. A dollar patch should be traded for a dollar patch. • Most Scouters (adults) will often throw in additional patches to keep the youth interested in trading patches. • It is recommended that a seasoned patch trader (mentors) follow the new scouts and oversee most of the patch trading. • Remember to put patches you wanna keep in your pocket and don't show it to other patch traders. • After you have mutually agreed to make a trade, seal the deal with the Scout handshake. ⏱ Time Stamp & Video Jump List: 0:00 Patch Trading Basics 0:43 Types of Patch Collecting 5:10 Patch Trading Types 7:06 Guidelines 9:39 Permoting Patch Trading #scouterstan #scouts #scoutleader @ScouterStan © 2021 S Richards LLC
