🌼 Spring Treasure 🌼 Hi Little Learners! For this special challenge, you need to become a Pirate and go for a hunt for treasure! 🧳⚓️🏝💎🔮🔆 Arrrrrrrrgh! See if you can use the checklist provided, to hunt for Spring treasure and then make a beautiful Spring picture! 🌼💐🍃🌞🍄 Can you tick off each piece of treasure as you find it? See what lovely things you can find and please send me some photos of your creations! • • 🌼 Resources: Sellotape (any kind will work!) - Scissors (to cut the tape) - Paper to stick it on • • 🌼 Areas of learning covered: Fine motor control (picking up objects, sticking them down onto the tape, drawing/mark making) - Hand eye coordination - Being imaginative - Mathematics - looking at patterns - Understanding the world - noticing detailed features of their environment • • 🌼 Opportunities to explore further: What can you hear when you are hunting for treasure? Can you create your own checklist with some new things to hunt for? - Can you create a story for each bit of treasure? • • 🌼 Our “Biggest” little learners (4 and above): Can you make a repeated pattern with your different objects? - Can you use your objects to write your name on your paper? • 🌼 This activity is super simple so even our “Littlest” little learners (3 and younger) will be able to take part with ease! They may need some support selecting the different objects, so you could always let them choose, support them selecting each object and then put it in a basket/bowl for them to then access independently.
