Forward Bends stretches the entire backside of the body – from head to heels, it soothes the nervous system and encourages introspection, it helps in toning and stimulating the internal organs, and also calms the mind. Practicing this session 4-5 times a week will help you to improve your flexibility for your back, hips, hamstrings, and calfs To invoke the rest and digest response of your nervous system and make you feel calm when you feel overwhelmed or stressed.
