on GOD or Nature? proof of life log 011 [12.26.25] music: • MSClassics: Nujabes 01 "To Impress the Emp... Baruch Spinoza, excommunicated from the Church, who famously stated "Deus Sive Natura." In his time period, he held quite 'dangerous' and radical ideas on how GOD could appear. In my interpretation, Spinoza took an attempt to bridge science (the natural world) and God through a rigorous system of ethics, philosophy. and proofs. Take that as you may as we all attempt to seek the truth of the matter. I am no God, nor am I Spinoza, so what I say could just be a bunch of hullabahoo... who knows? God-willing. Do we imitate a God or imitate Nature? live life letter 055 - nozy noetic nonsense: https://jake-ochave.beehiiv.com/p/imi... dear friends, As I write to you, we prepare to land for Taiwan. My head is pounding from editing videos on to live poetically with all of its noise and signal found within the symbols we toy with. It's all for play, I say. Forwarding and rewinding recursively for fun, monkey entertainment. The process, I tell you! I wish to be naked in front of you, metaphorically speaking. I intend on sharing what is meant (at least to me) what noesis is; a noetic encounter! This is what I wish to depart into your awareness, my friend. What is noesis; a noetic thought experience? In my view, it is a fancy word for curiosity & wonder, but perhaps, a bit more involved. Plato described it as the highest form of knowledge & wisdom (so it must be a big deal). A form of curiosity & wonder crystallized within the world of forms; chrysalis & christ, a crux I slip in. If I were to describe with my "own" words, from my own experience, noesis is full submersion, full resonance (of what is) It is a direct encounter with the highest forms, a divine glimpse of wisdom itself. It is difficult to attest to a noetic encounter as such would require pure awareness. There is no practical way to prove one is in a state of pure awareness, howeverso, I will try nonetheless, for the fun of it, I jest! To express oneself, clearly (and cleverly) through imitation. Jump right in- -to the mirror of mirrors, meditation of meditations. This is what I try to mimic; the soul mirroring itself. How does one mirror pure awareness? your friend(ly) jakester P.S. I wish you Godspeed towards the truth :p
