This is it... Finally scratched a nearly decade long itch and tested my Assetto Corsa sim drifting prowess. (in the dry and on proper tires) No doubt that my time in game has provided an avenue to accomplish something in real life that should be quite challenging to a first timer. Everything clicked and I figured it out right off the bat. Was suppose to be a private event with 10 people from the bmw bimmerpost forum... Only 3 of us actually showed up! So we had the entire pad to ourselves. No rules! Will be chasing the dragon when it comes to drift events in the future. This was the absolute best case scenario. All in all. Was an amazing day. Truly epic! Also had none of the understeer issues that plagued me at DriftSF Sonoma. Not running slicks and having the sway bar set to soft were the main changes. The new DJI OSMO 4 and MIC 2 setup also worked flawlessly and the audio turned out great. A new firmware released yesterday. Good timing. Audio quality was one of the items updated. Super happy with the setup and have no reason to look back on the gopro. Will try and run the same bimmerpost event when it comes up again. Will be the last bit of drifting until then. Maybe with the F80 next time :) with more tires!
