All 10 Safetran 1st gen and 2nd gen mechanical bells I have filmed so far. When I started documenting railroad crossing signals and LIRR / NY&AR trains in Long Island in February of 2022, at the time there were 13 left on the system owned by the Long Island Railroad (excluding those in Queens by the Long Island City area on the Lower Montauk line that are currently owned by the NY&AR as of like 2013/14ish). Since then, 4 were replaced with Franklin Ave in Hewlett, NY being replaced in May 2022 being the last one in South Nassau County and the last to ring until the gates started rising in Long Island, Broadway in Bethpage being upgraded in Dec 2022 with it being the last one on the Ronkonkoma mainline that is not on the Greenport Branch section, Lincoln Ave being replaced with a new mechanical bell in late spring 2024, and Penataquit Ave being replaced in Jan/Feb 2025.
