For a long time, I thought survival mode lived in my thoughts. In this episode of Momma Drama & Trauma, I talk about how survival actually lives in the body. In our breath, our tension, our reactions and the way we stay braced even when life has quieted down. I share how I began noticing this in myself, especially at night when everything was still and what it has looked like to gently teach my body that it is safe again. We talk about nervous system regulation, emotional reactivity, motherhood and how our kids often feel our internal state before we ever have words for it. This episode is not about fixing yourself or forcing healing. It is about awareness, compassion and learning how to soften after years of staying alert. If calm feels unfamiliar to you, this episode is for you. 🎧 Listen to the podcast on Spotify and other platforms 📝 Read related blogs and reflections at www.mommadramaandtrauma.com As always, thank you for being here.
